The City of Snoqualmie used a grant to design and build the city’s first skate park. Planned as a 6,000- to 7,000-square-foot facility, the skatepark is in Snoqualmie Community Park, next to the community center.

Many youth benefit from the skate park: 35 percent of the city’s residents are under 18 years old and the nearest skate park was 7 miles away.

The new skate park accommodates beginner and intermediate skateboarders and includes an above-grade design with concrete mini-ramps, stair sets, banks, ledges, and rails.
