The Yakima Parks and Recreation Department used a grant to renovate Randall Park, a 40-acre, 60-year-old park in central Yakima.
The improvements made the park safer, more accessible, and more aesthetically pleasing.
The City renovated the natural area, duck pond, pathways, bridges, parking, and restroom. The City also installed a picnic shelter and playground.
Randall Park was identified in the city’s comprehensive parks plan as one of the most popular and most used parks in Yakima.
