RCO is committed to making rules and policies that have been discussed with the public. RCO’s boards make all policy and rulemaking decisions in meetings open to the public. In addition, RCO follows the Administrative Procedure Act, a state law that requires agencies to provide opportunities for the public to be involved.

Current proposals and recently adopted changes may be found at the links to the left.

  • Current activities are proposed rules and policies going before agency boards or leadership. This page also contains emergency rules, which are critical changes that require immediate action and are good for 120 days or less.
  • Recently adopted rules and policies are those adopted and effective within the past twelve months.
