The City of Camas used this grant to make the first phase of improvements in Crown Park. The City built an inclusive playground, interactive splash pad, restrooms, walkways, and a shade structure. The City also installed lighting and furniture throughout the park, enhanced utilities, and landscaped. This project fulfilled the vision outlined by the community in the Crown Park master plan and provided a much-needed renovation to one of Camas’s feature parks. The phase also blends seamlessly into other park amenities such as the tennis and pickleball courts, open fields, a performance shelter, and Scout Hall.
